Foods that Help Beauty

Overall Nutrition
I take supplements and I use creams on my face. And while I had heard about how what you eat affects how you look. I had never really looked into it until now. WebMD says, “Go for the items with nutrients like fruits, veggies, whole grains, nuts, fish, and other types of lean protein. Studies also show that we should drink 8 to 10 glasses of water daily and eat hydrating foods such as celery and cucumbers.
Doing this has some benefits for the skin. One of the benefits is that it keeps the skin healthy and radiant. The skin is nourished. Also, it gives hydration to the skin that would otherwise look dull, dry, and flaky. So overall, healthy eating helps, and there are reasons that I did not have time to give as well.2 Besides overall health certain foods have benefits. Let’s check them out.
Green tea
This ancient drink fights aging can hydrate the skin, and is good for oily skin. The benefits of this unfermented tea come from polyphenols called catechins. Catechins
make up 60 - 80% of the polyphenols in green tea. These antioxidants fight against free radicals, which sometimes lead to increased skin aging and inflammation.
Avocados
A pilot study had women eating one avocado a day for weeks, and their skin was more soft and supple. This fruit is rich in several key vitamins. They protect skin cells with antioxidants from oxidative stress, and they promote skin elasticity. They have lots of monounsaturated and some polyunsaturated fats. Believe it or not, these are good fats. For example, the high content of oleic acid (a monounsaturated fat) helps to give the skin hydration and to nourish it deeply so that the skin is soft and supple.
I am going to drink more water. Is there anything you are going to do differently? I would love feedback and comments. Thanks.
